Resilience.help is a free psychological platform-catalog created by the “Smart Osvita” NGO with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation. It contains educational and methodological resources, tools and techniques, articles on psychological topics, and various trainings for educators and school psychologists.
The platform combines the best international and domestic practices of psychological assistance to all participants in the educational process and relevant training programs. All trainings are certified professional development programs, and the organization has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the “EMDR Ukraine” NGO.
The most common psychological problems faced by educators today:
- 61.5% have a depressed mood and loss of interest in daily activities;
- 55.6% have problems falling asleep and insomnia;
- 50% suffer from excessive irritability.
As a result of working with the platform, 94% of participants improved their ability to control their psychological state, their ability to concentrate improved by 28%, and the share of participants with high-stress levels decreased to 2.8%.
In addition to training, the website has a “Resources” section, which includes tools for taking care of yourself and others. You can choose the material you need or use the tips by applying filters and choosing your goal.
There are 19 “categories of care” — for example, you can recover from stress, cope with anxiety, strengthen your relationships, or improve your sleep. The platform contains the best resources, from complete programs with ready-made guides to individual videos, articles, games, and e-applications.
From the latest relevant programs: “Psychosocial Support for Educators” is a training for teachers to improve their skills in supporting children and adolescents in mental health.
The professional development program “Psychosocial Support for Educators” aims to develop educators’ awareness of mental health and skills in psychosocial support for children and adolescents and their parents/guardians in the mental health field in times of war. Upon completing the training program, participants receive a personal certificate signed by the chairman of the board of “Smart Osvita” NGO.
The cost of training is free thanks to the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine.
