The project provides free online open public lessons with volunteer teachers worldwide for Ukrainian students aged 2-18. This initiative allows students to practice their English speaking skills and fosters connections with various world cultures. Additionally, the project offers 3-6-month-long online English courses facilitated by foreign volunteers in Ukrainian schools.
As of January 2024, the project has engaged 154 volunteer teachers who have conducted 1,500 online lessons, benefiting over 55,000 Ukrainian students (please note that the number of students is not unique because registration for most classes is not required.) There are 12 ongoing courses in schools as part of this impactful initiative.
We are grateful to the Educo Foundation, David Falconer, and Margit Mueller, co-founders of Classrooms Without Walls, Ocean Wise Conservation Association, EPLdotCA, Strive2Thrive, and all the volunteers.
