On March 13, 2024, the results of the study “New Ukrainian School in Grades 5-6: Challenges of Implementation” were presented, which was conducted by the “Smart Osvita” NGO together with partners – the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, the Analytical Center “OsvitAnalityka” and the “Re:Osvita” NGO with the support of the International Foundation “Vidrodzhennia”, with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science.
The conclusions and recommendations are based, in particular, on the results of sociological research – a representative survey of about 600 teachers working with grades 5-6 of the NUS and two waves of in-depth interviews with thirty respondents. In addition, the study contains the findings of a desk analysis of the challenges of implementing the NUS reform.
