NGO “Smart Osvita” and CRDF Global in Ukraine are waiting for teachers on April 25 at 4:00 p.m. for the presentation of the online course “Online Cyber Security Course” and methodological recommendations for it.
The event will be held in ZOOM. It is mandatory to register using this link no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 24. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email. You can join the presentation itself using this same link. Teachers will also have the opportunity to fill out a form to receive statistics on course completion.

The presentation will include:
- representatives of CRDF Global in Ukraine and NGO “Smart Education”;
- cyber security expert Oleksii Baranovskii;
- child and family psychologist Svitlana Roiz, co-creator of the course;
- Course instructors Maryna Dashko and Lyudmila Bulygina will inform you how to use methodical guides for conducting lessons.
The maximum number of participants: 1000.
The course consists of five parts for students of different grades: 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–9, and 10–11
Each age has its own characteristics. So, for example, the youngest children (grades 1–4) are accompanied in their studies by the hero Smarty, who in a friendly tone tells them how to avoid dangers on the Internet.
To make it easier for students to learn the material, it is often presented in animated videos. Various tasks are provided to consolidate knowledge.
Separately, the NGO “Smart Osvita” has developed methodological recommendations for teachers on how to teach the course at school.
Child and family psychologist Svitlana Roiz, who worked in the course development team, wrote a special note for parents on how to help children use gadgets safely.
Course structure
1–2, 3–4 classes:

- How to search for information on the Internet
- How to communicate on the Internet
- What information can be shared on the Internet
- In this part, children will be accompanied by the hero Smarty in their studies.
5-6 grades:
- Email and fraud

Grades 7-9:
