A new lecture on activating a child’s brain through games and exercise is now available in “Elementary school teachers’ work with children having special education needs” online course.
The lecture titled “Activating a child’s brain during learning through games and exercise” is a part of the fourth module, “Methods of working with kids.” The lecturer, Kateryna Holtsberh, speaks of peculiarities of a child’s brain that inform their attentiveness, focus, tiredness, and the efficiency of the learning process in general.
To help children manage their learning-related stresses, activate their brains, and enhance focus, games and physical exercise might be used by any teacher, Kateryna suggests. This will help turning the children’s brains on and establish connections between the left and right brain hemispheres.
In addition, games can be a tool for teaming the class up because it’s important that all kids participate.

Earlier, lectures on bulling prevention and support for kids with traumatizing experience became available within the course.
